I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Noust cottage in Orkney, and I must say, it exceeded all of my high expectations. the location of the cottage was truly unparalleled, with stunning views across the bay and daily visits from young seals just meters from the front door. the cottage itself was immaculately clean, cosy, and well-equipped with everything I could possibly need for a short stay. the shower/bathroom was also top-notch, providing a luxurious experience. the cottage's convenient proximity to Kirkwall for stocking up on supplies and its easy access to the mainland of Orkney made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the Noust exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Orkney.
